Should I uninstall the previous version of True Launch Bar before installing a new one?
No that is not necessary. The correct procedure is:
- Install the new version into the same directory as the old version
- Reboot your computer when prompted at the end of the installation.
- After rebooting turn the Truelaunch bar back on.
- Confirm you have the new version by checking the Truelaunch settings|about screen
If you are using Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP be sure you are logged on as Administrator or have administrator rights before installing True Launch Bar.
